Diapositive 41 sur 68
Id is associated to the desire, physiologically expressed by salivary or genital secretions and, by the erection of the penis or the excitation of the clitoris.
This phenomenon is constant during the phase of paradoxical sleep (sleep REM, dreaming).
Eros, (the desiring : life instincts) and
Thanatos, (the accomplished one : death instincts)
fight within the framework of the Id.
Thanatos aims at the rest and is opposed to Eros peace-disturber.
These impulses are opposed but coexist, both necessary to the dynamics of the life.
